Fishtown Shad Fest!

Hey Everybody! So quickly coming up is the Fishtown Shad Fest. It's an arts fair and 5k run to celebrate the the ever exciting fish, the Shad. That's right, now what is a shad you might ask? Good question. (I had to look it up too.) It's a fresh water fish that's related to the herring. So now what does that have to do with Fishtown? Alot! Early colonists relied on this fish as a source of income and food. Well anyway the good people at the Fishtown Area Business Association decided it was time to celebrate this fish, and you know what why not!
All that being said.... LEAH AND I WILL BE WORKING IT. phew. Maybe we should make some Shad shirts to accompany or Scrapple wares? That's right Scrapple wares will be back in the full effect for Shad fest. So if you're interested in pre-ordering a shirt feel free to email me (juliannalose@gmail.com). We will now have shirts from sizes XS to XXL.
Leah Mackin will of course be selling her great book spine bracelets, vintage cover book journals, pressed plastic bag journals, and other great hand bound books. Check out her stuff here!
You can also get your hot off the presses baby clothes from Bon Bon Baby! (that's me. haha) I finally came up with a name! With designs like Sweet Pea, Cutie Pie, and My lil' Cupcake! All come in sizes from 3-6 months to 12-18 months. Get a preview!
Okay so here's hoping to see you there! Oh wait, here's all the important info:

Joe Stakun
Just a quick little quip about my good buddy Joe Stakun...
Through the entirety of my friendship with this guy he's done nothing but work and work and work and work on a plethora of projects. From his movie about FBM bikes to countless music videos to funny shorts he made with buddies, I really had yet to see one of his projects come to fruition. Well the day has finally come! I just checked out his music video for the Future Islands, which he directed and animated, and it's awesome! Here don't believe me... check it out!

So Joe Stak I can't wait to see your movie and everything else you continue to work on in the future.

ScrappleFest a celebration of all things scrapple. And who better to work it than Leah Mackin and I, purveyors of all products scrapple related. So come out and pick up an "I heart Scrapple" T-shirt and sample some great scrapple concoctions from the vendors at the Reading Terminal. You may leave smelling like scrapple, but the experience is well worth the stink. (hehe.)
P.S. Be sure to show Leah some extra love cause I can't be there to work this one with her. So eat a piece of scrapple for me too!
